Ulcinj is the southern most major town along the Montenegrin coast before reaching the border with Albania. Well over a majority of the population of Ulcinj is ethnic Albanian. Ulcinj is one of the very rare cities in wider region which has on its territory the largest and the most beautiful sandy beach in Montenegro, a second largest Lake with bird species in Europe, and so untouched river and very rich with water. According to historical data Ulcinj is one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic coast. It is thought that Ulcinj is more that 2.000 years old.
